A little bit about Cécile
Since I was born, I’ve lived an expat life, first following my parents’ moves, then later through my studies, and finally with my husband and our own little family. From country to country, one chapter after another, I used to stay on an average of three years maximum in the same place. Each move came with its own culture to discover, a new atmosphere to adapt to, and different people to connect with constant change was then a familiar rhythm.
With so much shifting around me, movement became my way to find stability. My mother was a ballet teacher, and I was lucky to grow up as one of her students. Dance gave me rhythm, discipline, and a connection to my body; something that stayed with me, no matter where I was.
Yoga didn’t arrive with a big plan. It showed up quietly during my second pregnancy, when I was simply looking for a way to feel better in my body. But what I found went much deeper. I first fell in love with vinyasa yoga: the way it flows, breath by breath, like a moving meditation. It helps me reconnect with my body and mind, and constantly reminds me to stay grounded and curious.

With gratitude
I first explored yoga with my children, training in kids’ yoga in Aix-en-Provence (Ecole Natha Yoga) and later discovering Mon Moment Magique, a French concept of well-being for kids and women. What inspired me then, and still does today, was the idea of sharing simple yet powerful tools to help navigate emotions and life’s ups and downs.
When I moved to Dubai in 2019, yoga took on a whole new dimension. Guided by my teacher Danica, I discovered what lies beyond the physical practice: the philosophy, the holistic approach, and the spiritual depth of yoga. This opened a path where yoga became a compass: grounding, strengthening, and illuminating. I hold deep gratitude for this guidance, which has shaped me both as a student and as a teacher.
From there, I naturally wanted to go deeper. I completed trainings with inspiring teachers, including a 200-hour course in Dubai and a 300-hour advanced training online with Jason Crandell. I continue to study all aspects of yoga: sequencing, anatomy, philosophy, and spirituality. For me, these are not diplomas, but milestones on a much larger journey.
Yoga is not about arriving at a final destination, it’s about staying curious, open, and humble. Always discovering, always learning.
